In This Issue As we publish our annual fall kitchen & bath issue, we’re especially pleased to publish the winners of the inaugural annual design competition, the Calla Awards, of the Georgia chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. All entries had to meet rigorous industry standards—not just for aesthetics—but for function, safety, and accessibility. Back in May, our Atlanta Magazine’s HOME crew had a fun morning shooting a few portraits of Richard Blais in Poggenpohl’s new showroom at Terminus. Blais, then a hot contender on Bravo’s Top Chef, is currently the chef at Tom Catherall’s Home restaurant, formerly Posh, formerly Seeger’s. At our shoot, the master of molecular gastronomy was pouring liquid nitrogen all over Poggenpohl's fabulous quartz countertops. Their new high-tech showroom was the perfect setting for our pages on cutting-edge cooking equipment. We hope you’ll be inspired to experiment in your own kitchen.
