Special Exhibitions Ends of the Earth: From Polar Bears to Penguins June 7, 2008 – January 2, 2009 Journey from one end of the globe to the other as you explore the fascinating Arctic and Antarctic regions. Along the way, you'll walk like a penguin, climb inside a polar bear den, study magnified polar bear hair and penguin feathers, and track animated ice movement as you learn how polar animals are adapted to live in the most extreme conditions. Ends of the Earth explores the uniqueness of the Earth's farthest reaches, what scientists are currently learning there, and how these regions are indicators of climate change on our planet.
